On a sad note, Joseph Howe has resigned from Molokai Shores. We have gotten to enjoy his solid skills and positive presence for over two years. We are grateful for all he did and brought to the shores. He will be missed and we wish him the very best in his future endeavors.

Paul reports that the breaking of the sewer pipe stacks have seemed to slow down and have not been cracking. Last year Paul was concerned and that each unit's sewer stack would have to be replaced but as of right now the maintenance crew is going to replace the stacks as they fail.
The worn out stair treads (mostly in building A) have all been replaced and painted.
The water treatment plant on the property was inspected by the state on February 24, 2017. Paul is waiting for the final report to come back. He doesn't think there will be any issues.
Buildings A,B & C have been tented for termites. The termite bait stations have been ordered will soon be placed in the ground every 15 feet around the building. The will help prevent ground termites from entering. The maintenance crew will monitor the bait stations monthly.
During the termite tenting process, large tarps had to cover the entire buildings. While they were covered, some of the trees and plants up close to the buildings died. The maintenance crew is working on saving the plants that are still viable and planting some new ones.
